Bare Root Rocks

I like to think like this of me,
I persevere, I am a tree
which can mature without
matronly soil
and with only
grout for roots to grasp
and while kicking ass foil
legendary rocks below my trunk stretching up only clasping 
dreams of air and full grown sometimes I am fraught
with terrror yet when there was naught
to support my aim
I would like to say I defied
the damn rocks anyway
